The All American Future Wager is a new bet designed to give you a shot at a big win price! Between July 15 and 18th you can bet on your choice to win the $2 million All American Futurity (run on Monday, September 6, at Ruidoso Downs) from a field of 23 horses picked by a panel of Quarter Horse professional handicappers.
Those 23 selected horses will be the ones that have proved themselves in the major 2YO races around the country, and horses that the experts think have a good chance to win it. There will be a "Field" bet that applies to any horse that wins the All American Futurity that is not named in the first 23 selections. Can you find the future superstar among all the top Quarter Horses. You bet you can!
The All American future wager is a simple Win bet conducted under the rules of the New Mexico Horse Racing Commission with the exception noted below. The odds that determine the pay-off on your Future bet will be determined by the final pool totals on July 18th at the close of the pool. The wager has a $2 minimum and you can bet on as many horses as you wish. Due to the nature of the wager, no refunds will be be made on wagers, even if a horse does not compete in the All American.
In other Future wager pools, like the 2010 Kentucky Derby Future wager, the winner paid less on the day of the race than he did in the Future Wager. This year’s Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver returned $18 to win on a $2 ticket purchased on Kentucky Derby day. He paid up to $73 to win in future wagering pools! That's the trick.

Statistics show that recent winners of the All American Futurity have run speed ratings of 90 or more in at least one winning effort prior to the trials of the All American. Also, top runners from other Grade 1 stakes have traditionally done very well in the All American. Can you find that horse?
